MILPITAS (KRON)—Four people have been arrested Sunday for allegedly stealing a purse from a 58-year-old woman in Milpitas.

The robbery happened just after 3 p.m. in the area of South Main Street near Serra Way.

An officer patrolling nearby spotted a car that matched the description of one involved in a robbery reported a few minutes earlier.

An unidentified suspect grabbed a woman’s purse and left in a car.

Based on the suspects description and the car given by witnesses, officers were able to determine that the two cases were related and arrested all the people inside the car after more officers arrived.
