Man arrested for allegedly selling drugs near Mountain View high school

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON)—Police arrested a Los Altos resident on suspicion of selling marijuana to minors and possessing marijuana, cocaine and heroin for sale.

John Morris, 62, on Nov.2 around 2 p.m. after officers searched his home.

Police claim they found over 50 pounds of marijuana and more than a dozen marijuana plants which were also confiscated.

Officers say they also found cocaine and heroin inside Morris’ home.

“This case showcased the great teamwork between Mountain View police and the county’s task force,” said MVPD Lt. Greg Oselinsky, who also serves on Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement Team. “These drugs are now off the street, and I appreciate all the hard work that went in to apprehending this suspect in this case.”

The investigation began when detectives learned Morris was meeting with teenagers near St. Francis High School in Mountain View and allegedly selling them marijuana.

Officers are still investigating the case.
