SAN JOSE (KRON) — Kanye West shocked the audience Thursday night during his show at the SAP Center in San Jose when he decided to go off on a political rant.

“I told ya’ll I didn’t vote, right? But I didn’t tell you…If I would have voted, I would have voted for Trump,” he tells the crowd in the middle of his show.

His announcement was followed by boos.

The moment was captured by a concert goer and then posted to Twitter.

This isn’t the first time West has commented on politics.

He famously declared that he will run for president in 2020. He’s also known for his criticism of then-President George W. Bush. “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” he said during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The audience at the SAP Center wasn’t too happy about West’s political rant which lasted about 15 minutes. Some fans even walked out.
