SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The holidays came early for San Francisco as the San Francisco Zoo & Gardens have received three reindeer to help spread holiday cheer.
According to zoo officials, the three reindeer are named “Belle,” “Holly” and “Peppermint” and can now be found at the Playfield Lawn near the Elinor Friend Playground.
Zoo officials said guests can learn what the reindeer eat, besides carrots and leftover cookies on Christmas Eve and discover other fun facts at the exhibit.
The San Francisco Zoo & Gardens are open 365 days a year, even on Thanksgiving and Christmas for guests to explore.
