SAN MATEO COUNTY (KRON)—Police in two San Mateo County cities are investigating separate robberies that happened over the weekend at two electronics stores.

The first case happened at a Techloop store on Burlingame Ave. in Burlingame between Friday night and Saturday morning, said Burlingame police Lt. Jay Kiely.

The suspects broke into the store stealing about $5,000 worth of Apple computer equipment and an unknown amount of cash, Kiely said.

The second incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. Sunday at the Techloop store on Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park, according to Menlo Park police spokeswoman Nicole Acker.

The suspect were able to get into the store by breaking the front glass window.

They stole four desktop computers, four iPads and four iPhones.

About $8,000 worth of items were stolen from the store, Acker said.

Menlo Park and Burlingame police departments are still investigating the burglaries.
