Second racist and homophobic graffiti incident found at Danville high school

DANVILLE (KRON)—Another incident of racist and homophobic graffiti has been found at Monte Vista High School in Danville over the weekend, according to school officials.

Danville police have started its investigation into the latest case.

The school will also look investigate when school is back on session next Monday.

“At this time, we are still investigating details of the incident and examining leads,” said Dr. Kevin Ahern, principal of Monte Vista High School. “Because this is an active investigation, we cannot release the specifics of the incident at this time.”

This is the second racist graffiti case reported at the high school and the sixth incident reported in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
