SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — Police are looking for man suspected of threatening a woman with a knife during a strong-arm robbery in South San Francisco Tuesday night.
The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was about to get into her vehicle in the 300 block of Walnut Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. when a man brandishing a silver kitchen knife walked up and demanded money, according to police.
The woman handed over her wallet, from which the suspect removed some cash. He then allegedly slapped and punched the woman and ran off in the direction of Grand Avenue, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries, according to police.
The victim described the man as clean-shaven, Hispanic, in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 145 and 165 pounds.
