SAN ANSELMO (KRON) — Police in San Anselmo are investigating an indecent exposure incident that happened on Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The incident happened at around 4 p.m. when a 13-year-old girl was walking on Saunders Avenue to a friend’s house, the Central Marin Police Authority said. A man in a car drove up from behind her, stopped, and asked for directions, police said.
As she pointed toward downtown San Anselmo, she said she saw the man expose his genitals and fondle himself, according to police. The girl ran to her friend’s home and called the police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, driving a small, older white car. The vehicle was last seen on Saunders Avenue and left in an unknown direction.
Police did not find the suspect car.
In that incident, two young girls were approached by a man in a silver car asking directions. He was exposing himself and appeared to be masturbating, police said.
