(KRON) Snow is falling across the Sierra Monday morning.
If you are heading up to ski, snowboard or just play in the snow, bring chains. At this hour chain requirements are in being enforced.
Tahoe ski resorts are reporting one to two feet of fresh snow.
Here’s the latest update from the KRON4 Weather Center.
Expect light rain and showers through sunrise with drying conditions from north to south late this morning into the early afternoon.
Dry weather conditions are then forecast to develop for much of the upcoming week, aside from a passing shower on Wednesday when a weak system moves through northern California.
Daytime temperatures will remain seasonably cool through midweek before warming slightly by the weekend.
Sunrise in San Francisco is at 7:04 a.m. Sunset is at 4:52 p.m.
Don’t forget you can always get the latest storm updates, LIVE radar images and traffic alerts with the KRON4 app. Download it for free from the Apple iTunes store or from the Google Play store.
