SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who stole credit cards at a South of Market store.
The suspect used the credit cards to make more than $2,000 in unauthorized purchases at a store on Mission Street around 9:45 p.m. on Sept.18, police said.
The surveillance video shows the suspect coming down the escalator.
Police describe the suspect as a black man in his 20s who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The suspect has a tattoo that looks like rosary beads around his neck and could go by the name “Jay” or “Jason.”
