SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—-One person has died and two others are still in the hospital after a multi-car crash that injured five people in San Francisco’s Marina District Thursday morning, according to police.
It was reported 11:43 a.m. at Lombard and Divisadero streets, said police spokeswoman Officer Giselle Talkoff said.
Three people were taken to the hospital and one of them, a man, has died, police Officer Grace Gatpandan said.
One female patient is in critical condition and a male patient is in serious condition, Gatpandan said.
The two other people have less serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
The intersection is still closed at this time.
