SAN JOSE (KROM) — Looks like Colin Kaepernick’s days in the Bay Area may be numbered. The 49ers quarterback has reportedly put his San Jose home up for sale, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Kaepernick bought the Silver Creek neighborhood home two years ago for $2.7 million. He’s now asking for $2.9 million for the four-bedroom, 4,600-square foot home.
Kaepernick, who opted out of his 49ers contract in March, hasn’t had the best year. The 49ers are currently 1-10 and Kaepernick been the target of heavy criticism ever since he stopped standing for the National Anthem and refused to vote in the presidential election.
The recently renovated two-story mansion is equipped with five and a half bathrooms, an entertainment room, a swimming pool and a spa with a waterfall.
Mike Strouf with Intero Real Estate Services is the current listing agent.
