The World According to Gary: Why aren’t the Raiders the “Warriors” of football?

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On today’s edition of The World According to Gary, Darya Folsom and Gary Radnich talk about the Warriors, how 49er’s Chip Kelly “made history,” and the Raiders and Chiefs mega match-up.

The Warriors play the Clippers tonight, a game that will serve as a measuring stick for competition in the Western Conference.

Darya mentions how the Warriors are being referenced in other sports as a way to label great teams. For example, Red Sox have recently been called the “Warriors” of baseball.

What a testament to Golden State’s sheer dominance.

49er’s head coach Chip Kelly did something historic by not lying at the podium, as most coaches usually do. He told the truth about not returning to Oregon. An announcement was made today that they already found their man for the head coaching job, Willie Taggart.

Colin Kaepernick will start against the Jets this Sunday… Possible audition? He did buy a condo in New York, you know.

This week’s Thursday Night Football game could be the best in TNF history. The Raiders will play the Chiefs in Kansas City in temperatures expected to be as low as 15 degrees.

The winner of the chilly outing will be in the driver’s seat to win the AFC West.

Lastly, why aren’t the Raiders being called the Warriors of football?
