Gas leak reported in San Francisco’s Dolores Heights neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—A shelter-in-place order has been lifted in San Francisco’s Dolores Heights neighborhood and residents are being allowed back to their homes following a ruptured gas line Thursday afternoon.

The leak was reported on Twitter at 12:41 p.m. on Noe Street.

Evacuations were ordered in the area and PG&E was able to secure the leak.

The cause of the leak was a dig-in by a construction crew.
