OAKLAND (KRON) — Residents were rescued from a three-alarm fire at a four-story residential building Friday morning, according to officials.
The fire is in the 3800 block of Harrison Street, fire officials tweeted.
The fire was first reported at around 4:05 a.m. by a caller who said their blanket was on fire.
Firefighters say the fire originated on the second floor. It was possibly caused by a blanket next to a furnace, but the cause is still under investigation.
