LIVERMORE (KRON)—Severe flooding has been reported at De Valle Park in Livermore Thursday afternoon, according to the East Bay Regional Park District.
Officials have closed the popular park and campground because it has become too dangerous after the storm.
The park is not expected to reopen anytime soon. Officials tell KRON4 they have at least two weeks, maybe three, of work to complete before the park is back open to the public.
And the work won’t start until after the water recedes.
This all comes after almost a week of storms in the Bay Area.
