BART service resumes at Rockridge Station in Oakland after police activity

OAKLAND (KRON) — BART trains were not stopping at the Rockridge Station in Oakland due to police activity, according to BART.

But trains are now moving again. The police activity was due to a report from an anonymous person that there was someone on the tracks with a gun, officials said.

Police checked surveillance cameras but could not find any threat.

The station has reopened.

No other information has been made available by police.
